She graduated from Christie's Education, London (via University of Glasgow) with a Master of Letters in Art History and Connoisseurship. Prior, Kati received her BFA in Illustration from the Rhode Island School of Design (RISD) following her liberal arts studies at the College of William and Mary.

An academic and poet at heart, Kati loves to study and most of her art comes from a place of deep spirituality and meaning.

Kati's artwork has been collected throughout the United States and Europe. While the beauty of the Virginian countryside has inspired much of her work, her current home in the Lowcountry of South Carolina has added a new depth of theme to her work.

When she's not in the Studio, Kati stays busy helping her children develop their own artistry and paths in life; satisfying her wanderlust with weekend trips with her husband, Josh; and occasionally performing in the local theatre.
